Online Teaching Position Offer

Louis Legrand School offers a job opportunity related to your area of expertise. This is an online teaching position, based on the Ontario curriculum, for motivated students within a growing virtual school.

Offer details:

• Teaching method: online, live on Zoom

• Schedule: two sessions per week, morning, evening or weekend, depending on your availability

• Duration of each session: 120 minutes (4 hours per week in total)

• Courses start: summer 2025

• Course duration: 4, 23 or 48 weeks depending on the program, maximum 45 hours per course

Student profiles:

Our classes are designed for students with diverse backgrounds: athletes, artists, international students, young people on the move or with special needs (giftedness, learning disabilities, physical or mental limitations). Our teaching approach is based on flexibility, inclusion, and personalized support.

Conditions to be met:

• Be certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), or be recognized for your in-depth professional or academic expertise in your field, such as Neil deGrasse Tyson, Romain Boussot, Easy Chinese with Yang David, Learn Math with Sylvian Duclos, English with Rahel

• Master the subject taught

• Master digital educational tools (Zoom, Google Drive, educational platforms, interactive tools)

• Be able to lead a virtual class in an engaging, rigorous and caring manner

Remuneration:

Pay ranges from $800 to $8,000, depending on the length of the course and the number of students enrolled. The higher the number of students enrolled, the higher the pay.

Each teacher is asked to consent to the publication of their professional profile on our website, in order to promote their expertise and increase transparency with families.
