Geography Travel and Tourism: A Geographic Perspective, Grade 11, Open Course (CGG3O) This course explores issues related to travel and tourism around the world. Students examine the environmental, sociocultural, economic, and political factors specific to specific regions of the world. This leads them to study patterns, trends, and challenges in tourism in a given region, as well as to identify tourism destinations with growth potential. Using critical thinking concepts in geography, the inquiry process, and spatial technologies, students develop the skills necessary to analyze the impact of the tourism industry on the natural environment and communities.
