CHY4U - 12th, World History since the 15th Century

History World History Since the 15th Century, Grade 12, University Preparation (CHY4U) This course examines the significant changes and events in world history since the 15th century. Students will study major political, economic, and social changes, the origins of contemporary issues, and the impact of various conflicts and cooperative interventions on global relations. Using the concepts of critical thinking in history and the process of inquiry, which includes analyzing and interpreting evidence, students will acquire the skills necessary to analyze major issues and assess societal developments or declines in world history. Prerequisite: Any University Preparation or University/College Preparation course in the Canadian and World Studies, French, or Social Sciences and Humanities curricula.
