HPW3C - 11th, Interactions with Preschool Children

Interactions with Preschool Children, Grade 11, College Preparation Course (HPW3C) This course allows students who wish to work with children under the age of six to explore various theories and practices related to physical, cognitive, emotional, motor, social, and language development. Students will also examine the legal framework defining children's rights and the responsibilities of parents and those working with children. Activities are also planned with children to allow students to test the concepts and theories under study in practice. This course, like all those in the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum, also targets the development of research and communication skills. Prerequisite: None
