Indigenous Languages 1, Level 1, Open Course (LNAAO–LNOAO) This course is open to all students. Its objective is to allow students with no prior experience of an Indigenous language to become introduced to Indigenous culture, to explore and learn about a unique worldview, and to learn to speak an Indigenous language. Students learn and use the language studied for greetings and everyday activities, become familiar with its writing system and phonology, and practice basic vocabulary and sentences. They also use information technology in course-related activities. Prerequisite: None
