IDC3O - 11th, Interdisciplinary Studies

Interdisciplinary Studies, Grade 11, Open Course (IDC3O/IDP3O) This course helps students combine the knowledge and skills required from different subjects and disciplines to solve problems, make decisions, create personal interpretations, and present conclusions beyond the boundaries of a single subject or discipline. Through individual and team inquiries and research, students analyze the relationships between various subjects and disciplines, acquire information literacy that allows them to analyze, select, evaluate, and communicate information, and become familiar with different resources and perspectives on contemporary issues. Students also examine their own learning style, make connections between their inquiries and research and real-life situations, and explore career possibilities in new disciplines.
