SCH4C - 12th, Chemistry

Chemistry, Grade 12, College Preparation (SCH4C) This course introduces students to the concepts that form the basis of modern chemistry. Students study qualitative analysis, quantitative relationships in chemical reactions, organic chemistry and electrochemistry, and the relationship between chemistry and environmental quality. This course allows students to use a wide range of laboratory techniques and, in doing so, learn how to collect data, perform scientific analyses, and communicate scientific information accurately. The course emphasizes the role of chemistry in everyday life and the creation of new techniques and products. Prerequisite: Science, Grade 10, Theoretical or Applied Course
