IDP4U - 12th, Interdisciplinary Studies

Interdisciplinary Studies, Grade 12, Open Course (IDC4O/IDP4O) This course focuses on developing practical skills and knowledge to solve problems, make decisions, create personal interpretations, and present conclusions beyond the boundaries of a single subject or discipline. Through individual and team investigations and research into contemporary issues, real-life situations, and careers, students apply principles and skills from complementary subjects and disciplines, evaluate the reliability of information, and examine ways to use information technology safely, effectively, and legally. Students also learn to select strategies for defining problems, seeking innovative solutions, evaluating their reasoning during decision-making, and adapting to change as they acquire new knowledge.
