MDM4U - 12th, Mathematics of Data Management

Mathematics of Data Management, Grade 12, University Preparation (MDM4U) This course allows students to increase their understanding of mathematics related to data management. Students apply methods to organize a large volume of information and use probability theory and statistics to solve problems. Students complete a major project that will allow them to integrate the statistical concepts and skills of the course. Throughout the course, students learn to communicate clearly and precisely the steps of their mathematical reasoning. This course is of particular interest to students who wish to enroll in a university program in business and commerce, or in the social sciences or humanities. Prerequisite: Functions, Grade 11, University Preparation, or Function Models, Grade 11, University/College Preparation
