TAS1O - 9th, Technologies and specialized trades

Skilled Trades and Technologies, Grade 9, Open (TAS1O) (2024) This hands-on course allows students to further explore the engineering design process and build on the technology knowledge and skills acquired in previous years of study. Students safely design and create prototypes, products, and/or services using tools and technologies from a variety of industries. While completing projects to address everyday problems, they apply technological concepts such as precision measurement and health and safety standards. In addition, students begin to explore pathways of study, apprenticeship programs, and vocational skills programs, including those related to the skilled trades, that can lead to a variety of careers.
