Discovering the Workplace, Grade 10, Open Course (GLD2O) This course provides students with the work habits and skills essential for success in the workplace. Through practical experiences in school, in Ontario's Francophone community, and in the community, as well as the use of authentic materials, students gain a better understanding of the workplace. Students explore employment sectors that interest them through research and participation in experiential learning activities and programs. This course helps students plan their learning and careers. The community and workplace experiences provided in this course represent excellent opportunities for students in French-language schools to strengthen their ties with the Francophone community and improve their French language skills. Prerequisite: None
