Clothing, Grade 10, Open Course (HNL2O) This course introduces students to the world of clothing, acquires knowledge of the functions of clothing and accessories, and recognizes the messages communicated by clothing. Students develop an understanding of tools and equipment and their safe use for making or repairing clothing and accessories. The course also allows them to explore ways to improve their wardrobe and reduce their ecological footprint by developing various purchasing strategies, comparing clothing quality, and recognizing the influence of advertising. This course, like all courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum, also targets the development of research and communication skills. Prerequisite: None
