SVN3M - 11th, Environmental Sciences

Environmental Science, Grade 11, University/College Preparation (SVN3M) This course provides students with an understanding of basic concepts and the application of scientific skills related to environmental science. Students will study a wide range of current scientific topics, including major environmental issues, the effects of the environment on public health, sustainable agriculture and forestry, energy conservation, and waste reduction and management. This course provides students with a solid foundation in environmental literacy and the ability to evaluate the social, economic, and environmental implications of various actions, industrial and technological developments, and government and non-government initiatives. Prerequisite: Science, Grade 10, theoretical or applied course
