SPH4C - 12th, Physics

Physics, Grade 12, College Preparation (SPH4C) This course provides students with an understanding of the basic concepts of physics. Students study concepts related to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromagnetic systems, as well as applications of motion and energy transformations. Students improve their scientific research skills by verifying the laws of physics studied and learn to solve problems presented to them and those raised by their investigations. In addition, students examine the impact of technological applications of physics on society and the environment. Prerequisite: Science, Grade 10, theoretical or applied course
