Physics, Grade 11, University Preparation Course (SPH3U) This course helps students understand the basic concepts of physics. Students study kinematics, the laws of dynamics, sound waves, the characteristics and properties of magnetic fields and electric circuits, and forms of energy, including thermal and nuclear energy. Students improve their scientific research skills by verifying the laws studied and solving problems presented to them and those raised by their investigations. In addition, students analyze the relationships between physics and technology and examine the impact of technical applications of physics on society and the environment. Prerequisite: Science, Grade 10, Theory Course
