Studies in Traditional Religions and Beliefs, Year 11, Open Course (HRF3O) This course allows students to explore the main aspects of various traditional religions and beliefs. Students develop an understanding of the vocabulary and concepts related to the major traditional religions and beliefs. Students recognize various individual and collective manifestations through which adherents express their beliefs within the context of traditional religions and beliefs. This course also addresses the study of sacred texts and oral traditions as well as the impact of time and place on the development of traditional religions and beliefs. This course, like all those in the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum, also targets the development of research and communication skills. Prerequisite: None
