Mandatory Courses French, Grade 10, Applied Course (FRA2P) This course allows students to develop their language skills in oral communication, reading, and writing. In oral communication, students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various media productions, interpret them, and present them. In reading and writing, the course offers a variety of everyday and literary texts, including a novel, a play, a fable, and a choice of a story, a tale, or a legend. Students reflect on the values that characterize the Francophone community, thereby developing their critical thinking and their sense of belonging to the Francophonie. In their productions, students use information and communication technologies and apply strategies to communicate correctly and effectively. This course is designed to prepare students to take a compulsory course in the pre-college or pre-employment streams in Grade 11. Prerequisite: French, 9th year, open-ended course (2023) or French, 9th year, theoretical course (2007)
