MBF3C - 11th, Mathematical Methods

Mathematics Methods, Grade 11, College Preparation Course (MBF3C) This course explores various mathematical models to prepare students for college studies in various fields, including entrepreneurship, human resources, and health sciences. It allows students to deepen their knowledge of quadratic functions, explore situations related to exponential growth, analyze single-variable data distributions, and establish the relationship between probability and statistics. Students also study formulas from the financial field and analyze the costs involved in purchasing a vehicle. Students solve problems associated with acute triangles using trigonometry. Throughout the course, students learn to communicate the steps of their mathematical reasoning clearly and precisely. Prerequisite: Mathematics Methods, Grade 10, Applied Course
