MCR3U - 11th, Functions
SKU: MCR3U
Functions, Grade 11, University Preparation Course (MCR3U) This course continues the study of functions by introducing exponential and trigonometric functions, which students use to solve problems related to right or oblique triangles. Students consolidate their numerical and algebraic skills, explore polynomials and rational expressions, and study transformations and reciprocals of functions. Students address sequences and series in the context of problem solving on financial applications when studying discrete functions. Throughout the course, students learn to argue and communicate the steps of their mathematical reasoning clearly and precisely. Prerequisite: Principles of Mathematics, Grade 10, Theory Course
