SCH3U - 11th, Chemistry

Chemistry, Grade 11, University Preparation Course (SCH3U) This course covers the concepts and theories that form the basis of modern chemistry. Students investigate the chemical properties of solid, liquid, and gaseous compounds, examine the reactions and quantitative relationships between them, and evaluate the social and environmental impacts resulting from the manufacture of new products and the application of new chemical processes. The course also emphasizes the importance of chemistry in other scientific disciplines. Prerequisite: Science, Grade 10, Theory Course
