Newcomer Support Program 4, Open Course (FFPDO) This course allows newcomer students who need to upgrade their literacy skills to master a wide range of language skills, learning strategies, and sociocultural knowledge. Students read a variety of literary and everyday texts from the Canadian and international Francophonie to acquire cultural references. They write a variety of literary and everyday texts and make various oral presentations. At the end of the course, students are able to continue their studies, cultivate a sense of belonging to Ontario, Canadian, and international society, and the Francophone community, as well as participate fully in the life of their community and contribute fully while respecting differences. This course is designed to prepare students for the FRA3U, FRA4C, or FRA4E courses. Prerequisite: Newcomer Support Program 3, Open Course, or equivalent
