4th – Artistic Education

Ontario's Grade 4 Visual Arts program encourages students to express themselves creatively through various art forms, such as painting, sculpture, and digital arts. Students develop their technical skills using a variety of materials and tools to create works of art. The program also emphasizes the analysis and critique of artworks, learning to discuss visual elements such as color, texture, and composition. In addition, students explore artworks from different cultures and historical periods, broadening their understanding of art and its role in society. The goal is to develop students' creativity, critical thinking, and aesthetic appreciation.
