5th – Artistic Education

The Grade 5 Visual Arts program in Ontario encourages students to express themselves creatively through various art mediums, such as painting, sculpture, and digital art. Students explore more complex art techniques and learn to use a variety of materials to create works of art. The program emphasizes the development of aesthetic sense and creativity, while introducing students to the analysis and critique of works of art. Students also learn to understand the importance of art in different cultures and to incorporate visual elements such as perspective, light, and shadow into their creations. The goal is to encourage students to express their ideas through art while developing their ability to analyze and appreciate visual works.
