7th – French

The Grade 7 French program in Ontario focuses on improving students' reading, writing, and oral communication skills. In reading, students deepen their ability to analyze more complex literary and informational texts, emphasizing understanding text structure, inference, and analyzing the author's point of view. In writing, students develop their skills to write longer, detailed texts, such as reports, narratives, and essays, applying revision strategies to improve coherence and clarity. In oral communication, they participate in discussions, presentations, and debates by structuring their ideas logically, arguing, and actively listening to the opinions of others.
