7th – Science and technology –

The Grade 7 science curriculum in Ontario covers various subject areas, such as life science, physical science, and Earth and space science. In life science, students study the life cycles of organisms, ecosystems, and the interactions between organisms and their environment. In physical science, they explore concepts related to energy, matter, sound, light, and electricity, investigating the fundamental principles that govern these phenomena. In Earth and space science, students learn about the characteristics of the Earth, the motions of celestial objects, and weather phenomena. Students are encouraged to conduct hands-on experiments to observe, question, and analyze scientific phenomena.
