CHT3O - 11th, World History since 1900

History World History Since 1900: Major Currents and Events, Grade 11, Open (CHT3O) This course examines significant events in world history since 1900. Students explore the causes and consequences of regional and global conflicts, the significant contributions of individuals and social movements, and the impact of political, economic, and social change around the world. Using critical thinking concepts in history and the process of inquiry, which includes analyzing and interpreting evidence, students develop the skills needed to understand historical changes and events, including those that continue to impact diverse populations around the world. Prerequisite: Canadian History Since the First World War, Grade 10, academic or applied course, or a locally developed Canadian history course that qualifies for a compulsory Grade 10 credit.
