Law Canadian and International Law, Grade 12, University Preparation (CLN4U) This course explores aspects of Canadian and international law in various current social and political contexts. Students study the principles of law and explore connections between topics such as human rights, fundamental freedoms, religion, crimes against humanity, immigration, environmental protection, security, and cyberbullying. Using the concepts of critical thinking in law and the inquiry process, students acquire the skills necessary to develop legal reasoning abilities and understand how dispute resolution occurs in the context of Canadian and international law. Prerequisite: Any University Preparation or University/College Preparation course in the Canadian and World Studies, French, or Social Sciences and Humanities programs.
