Grade 12 Science, Career Readiness (SNC4E) This course provides students with the scientific knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions at work and in their personal lives. Students study a wide range of topics, including biological, chemical, and physical hazards in the workplace, the properties of simple electrical circuits and devices, nutritional science, consumer product chemistry, and disease transmission and prevention. The course emphasizes directly relating these topics to the student's experiences in the workplace and in everyday life. Prerequisite: Grade 10 Science, Applied, or a locally developed science course that earns a compulsory Grade 10 credit.
