Science, Grade 12, University/College Preparation (SNC4M) This course provides students, including those who do not intend to enroll in science programs in their post-secondary studies, with a better understanding of science and its applications in the field of health. Students study a wide range of topics, including current issues in public health, the biological effects of various pathogenic microorganisms, nutritional science, conventional medical technologies, and biotechnologies. The course emphasizes the relationship between these topics, global health, and individual well-being, while also allowing students to develop their skills in experimentation, scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and analysis. Prerequisite: Science, Grade 10, academic course, or any Grade 11 University, University/College Preparation, or College Preparation course in the Science Curriculum
