AVI3M - 11th, Visual Arts
SKU: AVI3M
Visual Arts Visual Arts, Grade 11, University/College Preparation (AVI3M) This course allows students to apply with increasing ease the processes of creation and critical analysis in visual arts to their studio work, organization and exhibition management, while demonstrating creativity and technical skill. By using works from the historical continuum studied – notably artistic movements from the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century, works in architecture and applied arts, works from Canada and particularly from French Ontario – students improve their skills and deepen their knowledge. The aspects, modes of expression, materials and techniques to which students are exposed allow them to express their aesthetic and identity concerns, both in the visual arts and in the Francophonie. The course also leads the student to assert their interest in the visual arts through rigor and perseverance in their work, and through actions in favor of the artistic community in their immediate or broader environment. Prerequisite: Visual Arts, 9th or 10th year, open courses
